Behind rooted in wellness is a girl who thought she was doing everything “right” but couldn’t understand why her body was fighting against her. 

I started being a gut health coaching functional health practitioner because I know what looking“ healthy” on the outside while fighting yourself on the inside feels like… what it can look like and how it can affect your everyday life. 

I’d take all the supplements, work out every day, eat the low calorie foods and buy into everything the fitness world said was“ healthy” for me.

But on the inside? I still felt bloated all the time, chronically fatigued, overstimulated, inflamed, had the worst periods and felt defeated by cystic acne. 

My body wasn’t broken, neither is yours. Your body is communicating with you. Every symptom is an ask from your body to look deeper. 

In rooted in wellness we value root causes over band-aids, healing over treating, and self-trust over suppression.

I get to help women uncover the root cause of their symptoms— rebuild their foundation and truly be in alignment with their bodies again.

Functional Testing

Functional medicine and testing looks for imbalances and dysfunction long before disease develops. We use optimal ranges to show where your body actually needs support and find the root cause of your symptoms. Healing is personalized, preventative and is a holistic approach to restore your energy, confidence and true health. Your symptoms are real and there is a real explanation for them. 

Conventional Testing

 Conventional testing is  looking through one lens, diagnosing illness and disease once it's already developed. They use a one size fits all approach of medications or procedures to control or suppress symptoms- This only treats the symptoms, they aren’t actually healing them. Labs are read by very broad ranges, therefore If you fall into that range you’re told you’re “fine”- although you feel so far from it.
